This CLE will help you prepare for the significant changes to the Wyoming Rules of Civil Procedure. The Civil Division of the Permanent Rules Advisory Committee reviewed each and every civil rule with an eye toward matching the federal rules where appropriate and creating or keeping a Wyoming specific version of a rule where necessary. The proposed changes were submitted to Bar members for comment in August and final changes were made in response to the comments received. The Wyoming Supreme Court has now issued the final order adopting the amended rules, effective March 1, 2017. Members of the Committee are: Justice Kate Fox, Cheyenne; Judge Thomas Rumpke, Gillette; Judge Matthew Castano, Sundance; Patra Lindenthal, Park County District Court; Clint Langer, Sheridan; Devon O’Connell, State Bar President, Laramie; James Edwards, Gillette; Judge Tori Kricken, Laramie; Mark Harris, Evanston; Nicole Hatfield, Converse County Circuit Court, Douglas; Tom Nicholas, Cheyenne; Robert Krause, Jackson. A panel of three members of the committee will discuss key changes to the rules in this CLE.
